The VibroScan QTec Xtra 3D measures three-dimensional vibrations in a fully non-contact, high-precision way. With its advanced multi-path interferometry and diversity combining, QTec® sets new standards for optical sensitivity and immunity to interference.
Thanks to three perfectly synchronized laser beams, the system captures vibration data from three directions simultaneously. The integrated hub coordinates the vibrometers with picosecond-level precision, while the included MIMO signal generators ensure perfect timing. The PSV software handles the full process: identifying the relative positions of the three sensors, synchronizing the lasers, scanning the surface with a micron-sized spot, and converting the results into the FEM coordinate system — ready for animated visualization by vibration direction.
The VibroScan QTec Xtra 3D is ideal for determining operational vibration modes and eigenmodes in NVH, acoustics, structural dynamics, ultrasound, FEM validation, and non-destructive testing — with frequency coverage up to 32 MHz. Using the SWIR laser wavelength, the Xtra configuration delivers higher power and, in combination with QTec®, becomes insensitive to surface properties or angles — perfect for complex 3D measurements in R&D environments across Belgium and the Benelux.
