On November 26, Konnexxions hosted a new edition of its technical webinar series — this time focusing on how to get started with non-contact vibration measurements using single-point laser Doppler vibrometers.
The session welcomed engineers and researchers from across the Benelux and beyond, and offered a hands-on introduction to Polytec’s LDV technology and its seamless integration with OROS acquisition systems.
What was covered?
During the session, we explored:
- The working principle of Laser Doppler Vibrometry (LDV)
- The difference between Helium-Neon and Infrared vibrometers
- How QTec® multi-path interferometry improves data stability and signal quality
- Integration with OROS analyzers for synchronized acquisition & analysis
- Practical demo setups for lab, R&D or production use
Systems used in the live demonstration:
- Polytec VibroGo, VibroFlex, IVS-500
- OROS O4 dynamic analyzer
- Demonstration of a complete, synchronized measurement chain
